Recipe for Caramel Candy Apple Christmas Pizza
What You Need
1 completed pizza crust recipe 1 package softened cream cheese 8 ounces 1 egg 1 Tablespoon flour ½ cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring 3 cups finely diced Granny Smith apples 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg ½ cup heavy whipping cream ¾ cup brown sugar ¼ cup melted butter or margarine 1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts, walnuts, or pecans 1/3 cup chocolate chips
How to Make It
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
After making the pizza dough recipe, spread the pizza crust onto a lightly greased baking sheet or cookie pan.
Using a large bowl and mixer beat the cream cheese, egg, flour, sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until the mixture is smooth.
Spread this mixture evenly over the pizza crust and then set aside until needed.
Using a large bowl add the diced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and the other 1 teaspoon of vanilla and then fold to cover apples with the spices and flavoring. Set aside until needed.

Spread the apples and most of the caramel mixture over the pizza dough, while reserving the remaining sauce until needed.
Place pizza in the preheated oven and then cook for approximately 18 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for approximately 3 minutes.
Using a food processor, you will grind the nuts and chocolate chips until they are well grounded.
